Christmas Break

One of the fun activities for Christmas break was going to the roller skating rink.

Jordon on a motorcycle game.

Maron

Brooklon invited a few friends (India-not pictured here, Tia, and Emerie-cousin)

Gavon on a motorcycle game.

Trenton, Jenson, and Gavon.

Trenton won a mustache :)

Maron tried in on for size.

Maron had the mustache on and just when I snapped the picture the mustache fell off. Cute smile though.

Gavon rode his scooter instead of attempting to skate. Good choice!

Jenson brought Ethan his cousin and they sure had a great time together. Jenson is a great skater.

Giant jump house at the roller rink.
The front of the jump house. Gavon slid down the slide.

We also went bowling with my brother Shawn and his family but I could not get the pictures to load. It has been a wonderful/fun break. I'm kind of sad to get back to school/life but ready or not here we come.

Trenton got a bb gun for Christmas and Christian took him and the other boys out shooting the day after Christmas. I think they had a fun time other than it was freezing that early in the morning.

This December was a little busy with starting a new job and trying to find balance. We wanted to make Christmas cards but the days seemed to get closer and closer and trying to find a day we were all together was getting harder and harder. I felt bad that we didn't make one this year. We sure appriciate all of the lovely cards sent our way. We will try harder next year.

Christmas was on Sunday this year. We had sneaky children in and out of the living room all

night long. Excitment filled the air. I'm not sure anyone got a whole lot of sleep. We finally let everyone get up together at about 7 a.m. and opened the gifts they had drawn names for and open stockings. Our church started at 9 a.m. so we got dressed and went to church for a nice musical sacrament meeting and then came home and opened the rest of the gifts-We had a nice breakfast casserole and rested/enjoyed each other and then later in the day took gifts to the care facility that Madison and I work at. We were able to come home and enjoy a nice Christmas dinner of ham, mashed potatoes, corn, and rolls together.

We all enjoyed the day together (and not having to work :). Actually Landon had to work from 6-10 but everything was calmed down/finished by then.

Trenton got a bb gun

Jordon made Christian a special picture for Christmas. Jordon was so proud and Christian loved the sweet gift.

Our modge podge of crafted ordaments.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.

Brooklon made a coconut cream that was to die for.

After Pie :)

Before pie.:)Jordon and I made pumpkin pie from scratch. I've always wanted to make a pumpkin pie from scratch. I heard that it tasted better than canned pumpkin. It tasted yummy.
