Jenson at school waiting in line to go home

I feel like I work too much and sometimes it makes me sad. But the days I'm home I appriciate and am thankful for so much more. This last week I was able to be home a couple days and I absoletly loved it. I rode my bike over to the school. Jenson was so excited to see me which made my day and then we walked home and visited about the day. I loved it. I love my family

Girls being silly

Brooklon and Maron being silly.

Brooklon loves the camera :)

Brooklon - basketball

Brooklon started basketball with Christian as her coach

I think it has been a fun experience for her and a fun way to meet new friends.

Trentons 15th Birthday-Where has the time gone?

Trentons 15th Birthday-where has the time gone? I remember having him and it does not seem like that long ago.

I had to work on Trentons birthday so we opened presents the day before and ate cake the day after his birthday. He got some new tennis shoes and new church clothes.

Trenton wanted an ice cream cake so I made a chocolate cake, softened a box of mint and chip ice cream and poured it on top, and froze it all together. It turned out really good.

Happy 15th Birthday Trenton. We love you!

New Years 2012

I feel bad that it turned out so blurry.

Madison was down stairs watching a movie, Landon was at a party, Trenton was at a party, and Brooklon was at a party. Maron, Jenson Jordon and Gavon were so excited and had waited all day to go outside and bang in the new year with their pots and pans. I had worked all day and was so exhausted when I got home all I could think of was to climb in bed and sleep. We did it though. We banged in the New Year with pots and pans and then went to bed.

Our family tradition for New Years is to have fun finger foods (which we did this year too), sparkling apple cider, and at mid night bang pots and pans on the front porch while saying/screaming "Happy New Year" with our neighbors while watching fireworks.

Happy New Year!

*Last year my word for the year was "consistency" this year I'm going for "to act and not be acted upon".
