This December was a little busy with starting a new job and trying to find balance. We wanted to make Christmas cards but the days seemed to get closer and closer and trying to find a day we were all together was getting harder and harder. I felt bad that we didn't make one this year. We sure appriciate all of the lovely cards sent our way. We will try harder next year.
Christmas was on Sunday this year. We had sneaky children in and out of the living room all
night long. Excitment filled the air. I'm not sure anyone got a whole lot of sleep. We finally let everyone get up together at about 7 a.m. and opened the gifts they had drawn names for and open stockings. Our church started at 9 a.m. so we got dressed and went to church for a nice musical sacrament meeting and then came home and opened the rest of the gifts-We had a nice breakfast casserole and rested/enjoyed each other and then later in the day took gifts to the care facility that Madison and I work at. We were able to come home and enjoy a nice Christmas dinner of ham, mashed potatoes, corn, and rolls together.
We all enjoyed the day together (and not having to work :). Actually Landon had to work from 6-10 but everything was calmed down/finished by then.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.
