This is the cake we made for the party. Does it look like an apron?

This is the cake that Maron decorated.
We had fondant, frosting in different colors, bags and tips, glitter gels, sprinkles, etc.. Plenty of things to decorate cakes with.

They sketched a picture of what they wanted their cake to look like before they started decorating.

(They got two cakes each. They then chose the colors they wanted and we mixed them)

When the girls got to our house they decorated aprons with fabric makers and then we took a picture of each of them. (Do you love the hair nets?:))

We invited 4 girls but one couldn't come.

When they were finished decorating we boxed up their cakes to take home and show off to their families and then they played dance dance. It is so fun watching them dance. They seem to have a fun time together. I'm glad that they have good friends. - We gave each girl a oven mitt and rubber spatula along with their cake (in a cake box) and their apron (and hair net :)) I think they had fun. I did.

I asked Maron what her favorite part of her party was and she said "Decorating cakes". I asked her what her favorite part of her whole birthday was and she said "My bedspread that I got".

I think I am caked out! Good thing I don't have to make a cake for awhile. Not until Joe's birthday. Oh yeah, that's next week :)
