We talked about Chinese New Years at our house. We made dragon puppets with lunch sacks, Chinese lanterns with jars, tissue paper, glue and water mixture and ribbon etc..., and paper ox's because it's the year of the ox.
We made a special dinner of rice, chicken, and vegetables and ate it as a family by lantern light.

We had our own dragon dance in our living room after watching one done (dragon dance) in China on the computer.

It was fun to learn about Chinese New Years.

Gung Hay Fat Choy! (Have a prosperous New Year)

What a fun time at your house!
I don't know how you find the time, but you do a beautiful job with the CHILDREN. I'm glad you're the mother of my grandchildren!
