Notice anything missing? Look Mom no training wheels!
Madison loves the water. (I think she is half dolphin). She spent a lot of time swimming with her friends at camp. She got a little too much sun though.
This last week I was without my right and left hand. You tend to appreciate them more when you don't have them.(Unfortunately). I am so thankful for my oldest two children. (I'm thankful for all my children) Madison went to girls camp this last week and Landon went on a fifty mile hike with the young men. I constantly found myself wondering how I even get anything done. I also found myself missing the little things they do that make them, them. I missed them coming and talking to me and telling me about everything. I missed Madisons hugs every little bit. I missed Landons singing and him playing the piano. I MISSED THEM SOOOO MUCH! I realized how much the two of them do to help me and our family, especially when Christian is gone. I am grateful for the both of them and I am sure glad they had a good time and are home. I just wanted to hear them talk and tell me everything. I especially enjoyed hearing their testimonies. I am so thankful for our family.
The highlights of last week: Family bike ride (minus Madison and Landon). We rode all the way to Maceys (grocery store) and had an ice cream cone. Reminded us of riding the many bike trails that led you anywhere in the town, in California as a family. We were going to stop and visit our Grandma but being that it was getting dark thought maybe it would be wise to just go straight home. It was a good thing because when we finally made it home it was quite dark.
A few more highlights were Jenson learning to ride his bike without training wheels (He is getting pretty good), the family went to Salt Lake to watch Charoletts Web in the park(The best part about this was Christian got to come), the Wray boys all got missionary hair cuts, and Madison and Landon came home. Yeah!
-- Oh I almost forgot one of the happenings at our house. Jordon almost flooded the bathroom/basement. Quite exciting! Jordon I think likes clean teeth. He likes to brush his teeth before breakfast, after breakfast, before play time, after and before nap etc... etc...(I think you get the picture) So while I was listening to Madison share all her camp happenings and standing right next to the bathroom, Jordon decided he needed to brush again. I could hear the water running but did'nt think anything of it. Before I knew it I could hear water dripping down stairs. I peaked in the bathroom and noticed not only about an inch of water on the entire floor but the sink had been plugged up. I said in a very patient voice " Jordon what are you doing? You have made a huge mess." After a moment of silence not really expecting an answer back, Jordon says "Mom, I'm sorry". I could'nt be mad. He even volunteered to help me clean it all up. Never a dull moment.
-- Next week our family is headed to New Mexico. We are excited to share our many planned adventures with you. Stay tuned!
