Brooklon, Gavon, and I were able to go to Michigan this last week. My sister Summer had an emergency c-section and we were able to fly out and help out.It was nice to see their lovely home and family.

Our new neice and cousin-Nichole

Every where we went (Dr. office, airport, etc..) many people would come to us and say "What a pretty girl" "What pretty eyes she has" "She seems so tired" "What's her name" - HIS name is Gavon. HE is a boy wearing blue. And HE is tired and would love to sleep if everyone would stop petting him.- It got a little crazy. 12 hours in the airport due to delays. A very tired, teething, sick baby. And a very tired, sooooo sick mom. I don't think I want to fly anywhere for awhile. Although it was fun to see Summer and her lovely family and home I was ever so thankful to also see my bed, home, family, pillow, etc... Thank you Cuff family for letting us stay with you and visit.

Brooklon playing with a cootie catcher while waiting forever for the plane. And Gavon on his next to last string.

I don't know who had more fun, the ones giving the ride or the one getting the ride.

Halloween seemed to come and go so quickly.
Landon was dracula.

Brooklon was Ragedy Ann

Maron was Cindy Lou Who (from the Grinch)

We loved her hair

Madison was a cow girl

Trenton was a skeleton

Jenson was going to be Batman but at the last minute decided to be Hulk

Jordon was going to be Buzz Light Year but at the last minute decided to be a puppy. I'm glad we just have a bunch of costumes to choose from.

Gavon was Charlie Brown. Isn't he so cute?
We had a great Halloween.

Christian was able to stay home a couple of days this week. Jenson enjoyed making Halloween cookies with Christian while the other littles take a nap.

Family Home Evening: Treat -carmel apples
Family Home Evening: Because I am His child, I will serve God with all my heart, might, mind and strength. Scripture: (D&C 4:2) "Therefore, O ye that embark in the service of God, see that serve him with all your heart, might, mind and strength, that ye may stand blameless before God at the last day."
This pumpkin is going to help us remember how we can better serve God.
I can open my mind so I can learn about Heavenly Father and his plan for me to return to him. ( cut the top of the pumpkin)
I can repent when I make a wrong choice. (clean out the inside)
I can keep my eyes open for opportunities to serve others. (cut the eyes out)
I can be a good friend to everyone and not turn up my nose to anyone. (cut nose)
I can open my ears so I can listen and learn (cut ears)
I can open my mouth so I can share the gospel with the world. (cut mouth)
I can follow the Saviors example and let my light shine in all that I say and do. (place a candle inside and light it)

At the school the kids go to in order to dress up for Halloween you have to write a report on someone from the 1920's and back and have it approved. If it's approved you can dress up. Trenton wrote a report on Frank Costello a famous ganster. I did'nt get a picture of the costume (he was too hot in it) but we got a picture of the prizes. He won a free meal from McDonalds and a free ice cream. It was worth it.
One day last week we decided to have a picnic outside on the smallest blanket we could find.
After we made our mittens we had lunch with oranges.

We read "The Mitten" this last week.

We made our own mittens out of paper. We punched holes all around the sides and sewed them up with yarn.

We colored all of the animals we read about in the story and put them in our mittens. We wrote our names with glitter.
October 24th-Madison and Landon had an orchastra concert. What's sad is that when we showed up at the time we thought the concert was going to begin it actually was ending. We got everyone out of the car to walk up and watch the concert and Madison and Landon were walking out. I heard it was good. They sure looked cute. (Smile)
